I just repaired my K800 that got Operation Failed on Games and Apps folder(i disced phone from filetranfer mode). I had to find correct way all over esato and web and I decided to put some quick guide together as a token of gratitude to esato community.

I am using same files here as i used on my phone to show how it is working, use correct files for your phone.

How to repair Operation Failed with manual flash (free way, no wotan):

1. As I learned only complete flashing of phone will work. You will loose all the data on phone and with improper flash you can KILL phone. Carefull.

2. I used XS++, K800_R1KG001_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.mbn, K800_R1KG001_FS_S_E_EUROPE_RED52.fbn and SE_USB_Flash_Driver.rar .

3. Now get correct MAIN and FS files for your phone.

service menu (>*
A service menu will now pop up. Goto service info > software info

The top line should read: R1KG001
Check the line above the FIRST "Memory Stick" line, (eg. mine is S_E_EUROPE), write this down. This is the region for the file system firmware you will need to download.

Search now for correct files on http://www.4shared.com/ .

4. Install SE_USB_Flash_Driver. I unpacked the exe, turned on phone that was connected to cable and held down C. Windows installer poped up and u showed unpacked map to it. Detailed guide: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=150098

5. Flash your phone with files. I used this guide here

a. Connect your phone while holding down the “C” button.
b. After your XS++ successfully recognized your phone it will switch to the “Flash” tab automatically. Check “Flash Main Firmware”, “Flash File System” and “Customize File System”.
c. Choose your firmware and CDA, then press the “Flash” button.

Thats it, phone is now working as it was, but i lost Slovenian language (who cares, T9 still works in SLO) and all the data. Make backup.
