And it's not so illegal at all, because all you do is to spread some backups, for the case your house burns down or something.

You can order a FREE 15 (or 30, not sure anymore)-day evaluation version of Codewarrior for Symban OS from Metrowerks. I did that recently and got the free CD by mail. I tried to compile an example app from the UIQ SDK (you need to download the SDK seperately from mobilityworld) and it worked OK in the P800 emulator.
