Okay, i need to know if It is possible to return a phone to 3 store after using it for a few days.
I broke the screen on my phone on xmas eve and needed a new phone over the festive period, So I went to my three shop and bought a LG for £29.99.
I have used it until today (since I received a new screen for my phone today so it's now fixed again)...
Question is, can I take the LG back to the 3 store with receipt and say I don't like it? (I paid by card, so can't say it was a gift) I have used the phone but not removed any screen protectors, the only thing I have damaged is the sim card (which I need to use to test a friends phone, so I opened it). If i do a master reset they probably won't be able to tell it has been used, just need to know the best way to go about things with minimum hassle.
I need rid of this horrible LG phone ASAP!
Thanks in advance.

not sure if you can. have you read the terms and conditions or returns policy on behind the receipt, to see what they say?

Should be fine to return the phone as there is normally a 14 return policy on these things.

you can try returning it and see what they say but three no longer offer a 14 day money back guarantee now, usually the only reason a store would allow a phone to be returned is if the customer gets no signal, this is the new policy since about 2 weeks ago

couldn't you just get someone else to return it saying they received it as a gift they dont want? And if they say the cardholder needs to be present then you can go with them???

you could play about with the battery connectors (on the phone) so they wont make contact with the battery and take it back
or you could gift it to someone...

Just to note, if you topped it up at point of purchase (most stores make you do this), then you won't get that back.

three dont make you top up at point of purchase, but as i mentioned before, the policy is you can only return the phone if you get no signal, faulty phones within 14 days get replaced for another one, no refund on those.
Best bet is to go instore and see what happens, you may catch a generous manager who is feeling in a good mood, but as the policy stands dont expect to be able to return it unless you have no coverage in your area
