"With WISPr, fringsters can now seamlessly roam within Wi-Fi networks, even in uncharted Wi-Fi territory!
Since we launched auto-roaming between 3G and Wi-Fi back in September, we’ve been busy whispering between ourselves and working on new ways to further smooth the transition for automatic roaming without user involvement. With WISPr, fring now recognizes any Wi-Fi network you have logged into before, even if you’ve never been to that particular hotspot. For instance, if you are a Cloud member and have first logged into fring at a café in Piccadilly Circus, fring will automatically recognize and log you into all other Cloud networks anywhere in the world as soon as you enter their hotspot zones. This can happen automatically without any manual involvement on your part, which is convenient and particularly valuable if you have an unlimited usage plan with a Wi-Fi provider."

Hi all,
This is one of the reasons i am a happy Fring user for my Skype needs as not only have i never had a problem running it any of my devcies, but it constantly evolves and improves. Which considering it is a free app is really quite amazeing really, obviously we are all free to use what suits us best but IMO OptiMobile which is paid for, Truphone and any of the others really pail by comparison especially if you are a Skype user on a non WM devcie as Skype don't have an official app for us.
But the list of different systems that Fring supports and includes a SIP client for VOIP but also for IM it really is class leading IMO as the options it gives you continue to grow and now with this latest convenience added it just continues to get better and better.

Hi Alpha,
Yep i am a Fring fan boy no denying it and as i only use Skype for VOIP it really is the only truly viable solution especially on a non WM devcie. There are others but none of which give truly free Skype to Skype calls nor integrate so easily into the device IMO. I understand some have problems with Fring on UIQ but on S60 it just works so well i really have never had any problems with it all maybe low volume but that was ages ago now and fixed.
