Urgent! I already used OneClickPlay, the problem is that the m3u lists generated by OCP cannot be outside its folder, meaning, playing songs from more than one folder.
I used WMP and Winamp, dosen't work! WTH, I am now updating my P1i via SEUS, hopefully the update can allow P1i to read Winamp m3u.
Argh...

Updating 1000 songs takes 15min. And the moment you add or remove 1 song you need to update again for 15mins.
There is no way to sync realtime like Ipod or whatever. May I know how you guys sync the music in your P1i with its default player?
Nuts.

Dammit, I just updated my p1i and the screen says 100% but I heck care unplugged the cable after 20 mins stucked at 100%. Well work fine, now the bloody music player can play OnceClickPlay m3u list from parent folder but cannot play the weird Winamp playlist with EXT#INFO bla bla blah.
Hell OneClickPlay rules, GOD!

hi,
I sometimes have difficulties of preparing a playlist. For exemple I want to choose songs from their folder seeing the file name. Is this possible with P1? What is OneClickPlay?

Hi,
The m3u file must contain links to the exact location of the music file, including both the drive and directory name. Assuming your music is stored on an external memory card, every filename entry in the m3u file will therefore need to start D:\Music\. That's why many imported playlists won't work on the P1i.
Because I got fed up with imported playlists not working, I wrote a simple Java program (for PC) which scans for all the music files in a specific folder and creates a playlist in the right format for the P1i. Doesn't work if you want a playlist with tracks taken from various folders. But for CDs ripped using (for example) Winamp, it works fine. Once set up, you can right click on any mp3, m4a or aac file and it will create a playlist of every music file in that directory.
Let me know if this would help anybody.
Best regards,
Malcolm

Ah crap, I actually spent the entire day configuring and updating SEUS. Hell, after update OneClickPlay works for parent folder. Well, since ONP generates randomised playlist, which sucks, I used Microsoft Words to put the list in order. I guarantee that I am the first to do this in this forum. Haha..
Anyway, I need to wait say 12 minutes for the music to update.
Hell. Praise to OCP and MW.
Now I gotta see if it works.

Anyway Malcom neat website you got, look forward to that free playlist program of yours. Anyway, does jzip opens and encrypt password-protected zip files?

If this is true, then we can connect the memory card to the computer and open winamp. Then we can creat the playlist from there. After putting back the card to the phone we will be able to use the list. Am I right?

Sorry, but jZip doesn't open or encrypt password-protected files. Only regular zip files.

You might be right, I haven't tried. If Winamp does this, then great.
In any event, I'll make a couple of small enhancements to my little Java program (3K in size!), write a quick readme file and publish on FreEPOC within the next few days. Freeware as usual
Best regards,
Malcolm
