so finally after months of asking questions and comparing p1i and iphone, i finally bought my very own p1i....and I didn't pay the price that sonystyle was giving me
first impression is WOW!!!! i've never had that expression with the iphone. so i guess i made the right choice.
updated the firmware, now i need to set it up with my tmobile account so i can browse the net etc etc....
btw, does it really take quite some time to power on?
thanks!!!

yes the default browser is, in fact, opera. but you can also install opera mini for free.
the very first boot up is usually quite long as it initializes everything. but succeeding boot ups should be much shorter.

thanks!
i kinda gripe on the photo capability....it's good don't get me wrong...but I think that you have to keep the phone and the object steady for a couple seconds to get a decent shot....i tried to take a photo of my sister's dog, and since the dog was moving a bit all i get is a blur. in fact, i was able to take a picture that shows the dog without a head lol...anyway, i believe it takes too long of a time to get the camera focused to get a good shot.
look what happened when the dog was moving lol...

I think you captured the dog under lowlight condition that's why the mediocre CMOS sensor took hard focusing on the moving object. most mobile phones except those who have bestpic experiences that problem, it's a sensor limitation mate
anyway the dog looked cool
