I planned on buying this phone tomorrow, but needed to know if the grey version is available in AT&T stores. It's pretty much a make or break decision.

A side note, how many people have had their keys crack? I really like this phone but have heard this is a problem.

As far as I know...AT&T United States offers the w580 in grey.

I have heard that the keys break but I cannot confirm myself.

The key cracking problem was to do with the paint they used on certain coloured S500 phones (I think it was the black/green ones), which significantly weakened the plastic over about two to three weeks. SE quickly noticed the roblem and changed the paint and if your phone develops cracks they will replace it for you, I believe. Certainly any new W580 or S500 will not develop this problem.

Have a look here about half way down.
