Hi,
On my newly unbranded w580i in the lower left corner of the standby screen (above "calls" button) I noticed two things I have not seen before:
two little footprints and a counter (I think it is a counter) Does anybody know what they are?

Yeah, you have the pedometer / step counter enabled. Go to the fitness option in the main menu to see the settings (I'm prety sure you can turn it off in there) No real harm in leaving it running though, it's always interesting to see how many steps you have done in a day
