everytime i connect to a wireless network i go to the internet and it shows the sony ericsson/google home page but i can't go to any other sites.
and also what is blackberry..it always says i needa enable it on my sim or somethin...
i know im a noob can anyone help plz!!!!

Blackberry is only available if you subscribe to your telephone service provider. You can use Wi Fi free.

so all i need to do is connect to a network then it should work eg. wap.hotmail.com ?

It will depend on your contract that you have with provider, but normally yes you pay for wap usage, normally by paying a fixed amount per megabyte of data transferred.
WIFI/WLan is different, its not dependent on your phone service provider. Some hot spots are free, others require paying for, it depends on where you use the WLAN and who's providing it.

but i m still newbie with wifi & p1
from my local pub i did connect from the free hot spot
then it say connected
then i went to opera web browser, start browsing & then it ask me which group i did like to use
i did choose o2 wap (when first time got the phone a push text came asking to install settings for o2)coz if i was going to choose o2 mobile was coming the gprs
is this the correct order guys to browse free or do you recon i can get a charge?

No its not.
when you are connected to a wifi network, start the browser and type the desired web site address asa normal as you do with your pc. i.e NO "wap.xyz.com"
so you will not pay anything to your mobile network provider.
unless this wifi network isn't for free.

while on wifi....when i open the browser it did ask me with what group i like to connect
when i choose o2 gprs i see that the gprs counter was counting & on the web my account i see it did charge me
while on wifi again when ask me what group i like to connect i choose the second time o2 wap
no counters was active & on my account seems was not charge
hope is correct
may good idea to ring mt network
is any other group i need to greate? coz if i m connecting with wap seems to me little slow the internet on p1
next time i will calculate the speed
