Hi everybody,

After reading a post where somebody explained you could swap the K750 CID49 camera module for the CID36 one, I did so. Bought it on eBay and got it swapped and reflashed again by the technical service. They flashed again to its original firmware, R1BD002 with 5.3 cam driver. What´s my surprise when I start taking pics with the new CID36 cam module and guess what...? Pics are even WORSE than when I had the CID49 cam module!!! I honestly don´t understand what the f**k is going on with this crap phone. I thought it was only down to the hardware and changing cam modules would solve everything. Do I also have to flash to a different firmware version??? Which do you recommend? W800 R1BC002? Or the previous K750 R1CA021 ? Also when I flash it, should I leave the default camdriver 4.5 or 5.3 ? Use a modded one ? What about that 5.5 a user mentioned that K750s use in Germany which supposedly is the best conventional camdriver ?? I am sick to death of this K750 CID49 Red, if i´d have known this, I would NEVER have spent 229 € on it. The first CID36 black coloured is so good in camera and mp3 quality, why the heck did Sony have to do this with the CID49???!
Please, I´d love some good advice possibly coming from users who have swapped cam modules (CID49 with CID36 cam) and to tell me WHICH firmware to use and WHICH camdriver to use coz i´m sick of this.

frnd may be there is some problem in the cam module. i am using k750's cid36 cam module in my new k750 cid49 and it clicks better pics for sure.
i think firmware is not gonna make any major difference. Just just check the cam module.

W800 firmware R1BC002

Picture are much better then with the CID 49 camera module

I may get round to tweaking the camera driver one day but the standard one works fine in nearly all conditions.

So PowerLee, you flashed to W800 R1BC002 and then changed the default 4.5 driver to the 5.3 ? And pic quality is good? I had the 5.3 in the default CID49 firmware (R1BD002) and pics in daytime were crap although night shots were inexplicably good. I wouldn´t mind flashing to W800 again, but do you think flashing to the previous K750 version of R1CA021 and using 5.3 driver would do any good?
Does anybody have the CDA of Europe_1 for the W800? Because the previous time I flashed it, I only got English language together with a few eastern European languages. I´m living in Spain and would like to get the European custom pack where you get English and Spanish.
