Hey guys. I just picked up a used W960i and love it. But one issue is the person I bought it from deleted all his music files but left the artist list and albums. By that I mean they're still there but no music files are present as they show zero files. I can't seem to delete the albums and artist lists from the phone. Any ideas?

I'm on a Mac and have the USB connection up so i'm not using the SE desktop software.

I did a master reset. It for some reason kept all his data.

How do I format the flash drive?

Main Menu> tools>control panel>other> format media memory!

They're the steps on my W950i can't imagine it being too different on the W960!

i haven't played around with a W960 yet, but you may want to check this out, which is how it is on the P1:

in your music player, go to Preferences, then on the Files tab, there should be a button there for 'Full Update'. click on it and it will reset all previous track, album and playlist data then scan for new/existing music on the phone.

hope it works!
