today the new real firmware came...aaahhh im been waiting so long..

im going to DPY flash my k850 about some hour....im realy exciting to see the result..

ps...

support told me that 038 will only work on unbranded phones...

Hi Guys,

Just a quick question, my K850i is on Orange UK, and is branded as such. It has all the nasty Orange software!

I have in the past debranded my phones, but this time I am resisting the urge to do so, as I know that once debranded, I cannot update through SEUS.

I am still stuck on R1CA037!

With Camera version 2.9!

I have tried on various occassions to update through SEUS, but to no avail, just getting the same FW each time, anyone know if Orange branded phones have not had a FW update released?

kimot......... if your store not will unlock your k850...try to unlock it on the internet.....or sell it and buy a unbranded k850...thats what i should do...good luck.

sorry...i dont think so.. BUT call your local

support...(it was the swedish support who told me that R1038 only will work on unbranded phones)

When I talked to a semicon rep in the mall, she told me that firmware upgrades are part of the warranty of the k850.

Maybe they can do it for you for free. And if they mess up the fone, then its their fault and they'll replace it. heehee
