Hi I don't know if this is a hoax or not, But I thought I would post it on here anyway..
But you can't be to careful with these virus
Attention all Internet Users,
This looks like a bad one that's coming. Forward this to others. Please read and forward to everyone you know......
DO NOT OPEN "NEW PICTURES OF FAMILY" It is a virus that will erase your whole "C" drive. It will come to you in the form of a E-mail from a familiar person. I repeat a friend sent it to me, but called & warned me before I opened it. He was not so lucky and now he can't even start his computer! Forward this to everyone in your address book. I would rather receive this 25 times than not at all.
Also: Intel announced that a new and very destructive virus was discovered recently. If you receive an email called "FAMILY PICTURES," do not open it. Delete it right away! This virus removes all dynamic link libraries (..dll files) from your computer. Your computer will not be able to boot.

READ IMMEDIATELY AND PASS ON TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW
Someone is sending out a very cute screensaver of the BudweiserFrogs. If you download it, you will lose everything! Your hard drive will crash and someone from the Internet will get your screen name and password! DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! It just went into circulation yesterday. Please distribute this message. This is a new, very malicious virus and not many people know about it. This information was announced yesterday morning from Microsoft. Please share it with everyone that might access the Internet.

It always pays to be aware of these things, I check the Symantic (Norton antivirus) website on a regular basis and theregister.co.uk also has the latest, and look out for hoaxes too, there was one going around not so long ago saying if you find sulfbk.exe ,or something like that, delete it cos it's a virus, it's actually a windows system file. I don't know why there are these idiots out there that enjoy messing up other peoples expensive electronics.

- IBM, AOL and (insert company here) have announced that it is VERY powerful, more so than Melissa, there is no remedy at this moment in time!
- It will DESTROY all the information on your hard drive and also destroys Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer and (insert software here)
- DO NOT open anything with this title and please pass this message on to all your contacts and anyone who uses your e-mail facility.
What should you do when you receive such a mail?
A. Quickly forward the e-mail to everyone you know in order to protect them from the insidious virus.
B. Quickly forward the e-mail only to the people you like -- let your enemies get what they deserve.
C. Calmly delete the message because you know it has to be a hoax.
D. Visit an online virus research center to confirm that the message is a hoax, and then delete it.

Yes, these "warning" emails are a lot similar to viruses too... everybody forwards them. *ugh* I hate chainletters...
But, I think it's interesting why people keep on opening these strange emails!? I NEVER open emails from unknown persons (if I don't expect a mail) and I always scan them before I open them...
