Is there a way to connect the mobile to the laptop through WiFi connection?

I know this can be done between two laptops (or PCs), so, phone being a 'Smart' one, this should be possible right?

Once it's connected, can i view the shared directories?

You can use mobileftpd, which is an application that works like a FTP server, so you can access your files from the computer.

Hi Peio,

I don't want to access the phone via internet. I was to connect directly from my laptop to phone.

I guess the application you suggested should work for my above request. but, by first problem is on how to get the laptop and mobile to communicate via WiFi!!

Search for MobileWindowsExplorer, I think that is what you are looking for.

To Skeerthy.
Have a look at this link. I saw in action the version of this prog on N95 phone, quite impressive - using Wi-Fi to share and access computer from phone and in opposite direction as well. It may be the awesome application when that Beta version will became a Regular one.
