Hi guys.

I need some help, basically I bought a nice 1970's rado watch. I really really liked it. Anyhoo got this watch tuesday. Went out last night and some guy thought be a good idea to rip it off my wrist, resulting it breaking. Anyhoo it's broken and I took it to my local jewlers today they quoted me £140 for a service, but it's also guna need some parts (which are rare) so it would probally cost a bomb.

By any chance is anyone close friends with a watch repair man which may do it as a favor or cheaply?

Thanks

Hi

it's a rado starlinner 999 and hers a pic before it was damaged.:

looks sweeter in person though, it has this kinda goldy/champagne glow which you don't see untill it's in the light.

Fatreg, how did ya break your glass, you have one of the new rado's and they are made from saphire if im correct?

@ dj - unfortunately thats a different watch and a fake rado,

@ Lesley - I have a friend who's dad owns a watch shop, he said he can probably take a look at it, but it will probably cost me parts + small labour depending what the problem is within it. Doubt I can get any £ from the guy, don't even know him and doubt Il see him again
