Hi all,
Question regarding SMS alerts.. My mum has a phone which gives a continous SMS alert until the message is read. Her phone is a VK 530, and i wonder if this feature is standard on any other handsets? (as she wants a new phone, but it must have this feature!). Any views and recommendations appreciated.

I agree you might view this as annoying, but my mum finds this a wonderful MUST have feature on her handset, and i simply wish to find other handsets with this feature.

my samsung e720 keeps vibrating/playing the message tone every 5 mins till the msg is read, can be annoying when im doing something important and cant check my phone. luckily its just my backup phone

Checked out the samsungs you guys mention, probably worth checking them out in stores, since the spec. doesn't appear to specify the continous ringtone, might try a long ringtone, interesting idea.
