What kind of a reply was that

You can use your fingers to point on the display, use the jog dial or make use of the limited amount of short cuts on the keyboard. Or of course get a new stylus!

i rarely use the stylus as i've got a screen protector, I use my thumbnail to find contacts or write text messages.

Odd reply buddy,

I find myself using the inside top corner of my right thumb it falls perfectly on the back soft key, top right on most dialogue boxes, and I can also hit the soft keys at the bottom of the screen with the same bit of my thumb.

I must say that I find the scroll wheel and especially the back button both too low down the phone. I feel like I'm going to drop the phone as a result of cupping the bottom edge of the hone in the centre of my palm in order to comfortably reach both with my index finger. I end up supporting it with my left hand which sort of defeats the object, You might as well get the stylus out (if you have one) . This wouldn't be a problem if they had dispensed with the wrist strap loop and moved the scroll wheel up... and made it five way like the P910, sorry bit OT. I find my use of the stylus is limited to calendar and 'menu digging'.

you can use most things without the stylus, but some are better done with the stylus! its always a good idea to carry a stylus with your phone

If you don't want to use the stylus or touch screen, why buy the P1i? I rarely use my stylus, just for calendar entries and the photo gallery but I do use my fingers on the screen ALL the time!
