hi there ppl new guy on the forums lol...
right....down to business....
okay im very aware of the numerous dead k800i queries posed on this site....have read most of them in attempt to salvage my phone from the jaws of death...
ALAS!! i have not managed to revive my phone after a heady night out on NYE 07....
right...
i have fully charged my phone...eliminating the posibility of it being a battery problem...i know thisas the IR port light flashes when ever i hit the power button atop my k800i...
i have tried shorting the circuit....
and i have literally been pissing and moaning about why wotan will not detect my phone....
have followed the instructions to the best of my ability....
2+5 pressed down before connecting the phone ...login and password wiped before hand... installed the flash drivers so and so on...
removed the battery for 5 minutes to fully restart the system.... sim removed..... memory card removed....am using a dcu 60 cable.....
AAARRRRGGGGHHHHH GODDAMM FRUSTRATION!!!!!!! simply put, the computer let alone the client cannot detect the phone....
jus need to get my phone up and running to salvage my text messages and memo's and any new numbers....
i summon anyone who can fix my phone....
HELL even physicallyy remove the erom and extract the info will be better than nothin at this point.....
is there any one who can help?

i fixed it with wotan. install wotan. make sure the usb drivers are installed. remove sim and memory card. put battery back in. hold 2 and 5 befor eyou connect and then wotan did everything. For some odd reason, it didnt even cost me a credit. Your luck may very. Good Luck guys

Gok, my wotanclient doesnt even recognise my K800 or if i hold the 2 and 5 buttons, it just say it fails to open
