Hello,

I don't know if there is anybody using this great software on their phone but I wanted to mention a problem that I got while using this software.

I installed and enabled Japanese on my phone then it restarted the phone. Everything works great with the software but while japanese is enabled my task manager won't work. I click on it but nothing happens. No errors. The screen just stays as it is. Even when I click from the other menu.

Does any user of this software have an idea?

Hi!

I used this on my old W950i and all worked well except for displaying Japanese song title and singer information in the media player.

The only thing I can suggest is to email PSILOC but they might have something in their database or it might be an unknown issue.

I am sorry, I know that's a bit too obvious for advice

Thank you for your advice. In fact I've already sent a message to their discussion forum. As I said the software works great with the MSDict Japanese Dictionary.

I can also write in Japanese in any program but being unable to open the task manager is a major problem. Other than that the software is very good.

Hi!

did you have any Japanese music with info displayed prefectly?

I am thinking of getting a W960i as a back up phone and would ask PSILOC to give me a code because of a phoen change...

Maybe they would not do that...

I can try it for you. Do you want me to put a file with japanese named in japanese fonts? Or you want me to edit its tag with japanese?

Hi!

yes please! I reset my Windows XP to have Japanese as default before the tags would work, but then on the W950i the display of Japanese in the music player was inconsistent...

Some albums would display and others would not, some would display album art and no Japanese titles and artist info, and others would do the opposite.

Not helping your task manager issues though... ! sorry !

I've just sent a Japanese song the phone with all japanese fonts including its tag. I updated the music list and the file could be read perfectly from the list without any problem.

I don't know what I will have to do for task manager issue.

No problem.

I've noticed that I've the same problem with other languages too. Just for checking I've downloaded Thai Localization, Hindi and the others... I have the same problem.

I wonder what the problem can be

Hi!

that's interesting........... and negates my next suggestion. to either de-activate the Japanese or uninstall, then siwtch off / on, and re-activate reinstall.

I hope Psiloc can workout a solution..
