I noticed some of you others have had the same problem. All of a sudden yesterday my P1 touchscreen stopped working. Everything was fine when i used the keyboard or jogging dial but i couldnt use the touch screen. When left alone for a while i noticed it worked for a bit, or so i thought. I later went on to figure out that the screen would only respond to touch when i was holding the phone in a matter where the black shinny bar over the speaker (on the back) was being pushed. I noticed that the bar now moved abit and when i held in one side of the bar the touch screen would work fine.........Now the problem is fixing it

(phone bought off ebay so no warrenty )

Seems to me that it's just that the screen connector has come loose from the mainboard, if the internals are anything like the p990 you should be able to fix this yourself with a little patience and a steady hand...
