has anyone else noticed that burst mode on the p1i is a load of shit?
the point of burst mode i think is to take a picture of a moving object etc
like say a car driving by or things like that
but if i do that with my p1i then i would have one pic of a car and the rest would just be of whatever was behind the car as it takes about 1 pic every second but my sisters s500i takes 4 in about the same time it takes me to take one and even my old w810i was quick compared to this "smartphone"
or is it just my burst mode is crap?? and everyone elses is quick?
thanks

Yeah well I know where your coming from but this isnt really an imaging device. That said though its a fantastic device otherwise with many feaures that do work well. Its really just a gimmick that burst thing.

It is because of the camera adjusting the light all the time. If you look at the screen in dim conditions it is in slow motion. It's like that because the phone wants to take the best shot. Because of that burst is very slow in dim conditions.
Try to do it in daylight.. You wont regret it

just tried it outside in burst mode and the first thing i noticed is the screen viewfinder doesnt lag at all it really smooth which is good, and when i did burst mode yes it is alot quicker not as quick as say mu sisters s500i but still quick!!
also it isnt exactly a bright day today here so i think in more sunny conditions it will be a bit more quicker
thanks for telling me that im now quite happy with the camera on this phone now!
