i've installed this application..
you must first sign up and provide your mobile number and IMEI in the website..
the java app asks for a mobile number of your friend or whoever you want ...everytime your phone is restated and a new sim card is inserted,this app would send a text message to your friend's number to inform him/her that your phone is restarted...
overal,maybe i'm wrong but i found this app useless,it's just cool and provides some fun
correct me if i'm mistaken...

Hi all,
There is another thread discussing another method of achieving this called Secure your phone against theft. 100% secured which can be found here.

Although personally i prefer a hardware solution that offers both anti theft and active tracking and retrieval and works with any devcie which can be viewed here

Actually the application sends a message to your phone number (eneter it manually) at each start up or once a day whichever you prefer and if the application dosn't recieve the message iot sent to your number then a new sim has been inserted and it will send a message to a number of a friend or family member telling them the new number in the phone then you can track it or call your networ kgiving them the details and maybe you might get back ur phone...
hopee thhat made sense...but it is a good and free program i recomend and use PLUS IT CAN BE USED ON JAVA BASED PHONES !!!
wheras the program marc/dogman was talking about can only be used on S60 phones AFAIK

@SE4NICK
Click the second link and you will see the ultimate devcie security with a built in track and retrieve function, apologies for my warped sense of humour.
