i emnt the platform, its not the fw. db3150, also known as a2 device, are totally new and different next to former devices, like k800 ( db2020 ) w200 ( db2012 ) w810 ( db2010 ) or p990 ( db2000 ). thses fomes are better protected, cos the ic is already able to manage gps and other things aswell. so it will take time to find a way how to mod them, just like at the other fones it took time.

some monthes for sure... its not a long time, that some patches came out for db2020 fones ( k800, k810 etc ), but to be honest, i would never mess around my fone with any of them, the result is only a slightly better pic or bit better sound, not really interesting things imo...

my sis had a k800i and i have k810i,
basically its similar but could it be safe and possible to apply k810i firmware and patch to my sis (k800i) unit?
