Hi I just bought my phone last month and each time I re-charged it in about an hour or a less my battery drains in a split of a second. After I unplugged the charger from my phone the power status (percentage) keeps on running down. Everytime I need to rechaged my phone I need to wait for 3 to 4 hours to fully charged to avoid this problem. Also, I had my phone upgraded to the latest firmware but still problem exists. Any thoughts on this?

This thread should be under Symbian Phones. Nevertheless, have you been charging your phone via USB cable connected to your computer? If so, then use the dedicated charger supplied, the USB cable's purpose is mainly for data transfer, the USB charging feature is only to sustain the battery whilst your P1 is in use as a modem, data transfer, etc. If not, then there's probably a problem with your battery
