> Decent video camera?

After the advice given to me in my recent post, I've decided the K800i seems like the best phone for me. However, it has one major flaw for me - the camera may be great, but the video recording sucks, and I'd be quite happy to pay extra cash to get a phone that has what the K800i has, and a better video camera. Can anyone recommend one, or am I wasting my time looking and better spending some cash on a cheap camcorder?

Have a look at LG Viewty, Nokia N82, N93(i) or N95 (8 GB). Those are some of the best offerings for video recordings at the moment!

But i recommend to keep your K800 and buy a camcorder. those phones are good to recording video but a camcorder is definitely better.

2.
N93i
3.
k850/N82....(N82 isnt much better then K850 actually..ive seen many samples by N82..and im not stunned...k850 record nearly with same quality).

The 120fps on the viewty is for slow motion only capture only.

Currently the best are N95, N82, N93 and viewty have great VGA @ 30fps video recording.
if you want great video recording, then forget about SE. The best SE has is K850 which records QVGA @15-30fps. This is only 1/4 pixels of VGA. And K850 frame-rate drops to 15fps if there is lot of scene change/movement in recording.

Save some money and buy a digital camera with VGA recording. I recommend the Canon Digital IXUS 860 IS (aka PowerShot 870 IS): 8 MP, optical zoom, image stabilization, VGA recording at 30 fps with good sound. I paid USD 400 for it, but you'll probably find it cheaper.
Update: Panasonic just announced a 32 GB SDHC memory card. That would fit more than 3 hours of high quality video recording with my camera.
