Hi,
Does anybody know how to turn the sound off when you switch the P1 on?
I don't want my phone to play any sound when I switch it on.

but actually - I don't see an option for the startup or shutodwn sound there!
Possible hack if it's not possible - thinking along the fonts idea, could we create a silent mp3/aac file of the right name and path on the M2 card and the phone would pick it up?

IMO the only way to avoid the start up sound is to put it on silent mode before you switch it off
