To those of you who've got the p800 - Gratulations!!
Is it possible with the current software versions to write (eg. SMS) with danish characters as æ,ø and å?

Yes!
The virtual keyboard can chose between following languages:
English, france, german, spain, italian, sedish, danish, norway, finnish, pourtgual, Turkey, Netherlands, and greek!

Yes. Although it's only available with Swedish and English OS languages. It has all all international keyboards available (well all the ones with roman styles characters anyway. Not asian or arabic).
