Any idea if SE will put the bleep when the phone is out of signal [like the P990] on the next firmware of the W960? I miss it, it was really useful.
Also will there be a keyshortcut for speaker phone. I know there is a shortcut when making a call on the screen but as far as I can see you have to use the 'more menu' to access the speaker for an incoming call.
Thanks.

1. Unlikely.
2. Don't think so.

(talk about optimism... )

Don't know if this is of any help, but when I have the HPM-82 connected and the earplugs in, I get a bleep when my phone gets its phone signal back. I was surprised the first few times when this happened because I thought I accidently hit a few buttons on my phone.
It's a nice feature but honestly, I could live without it. When I have to make a phone call I have to whip out my phone and look at it anyways and now when I think about it I haven't really worried much about people trying to reach me. For some reason. Guess I'm just selfish.

i never get out of signal, unless i am in a bunker/basement of some sort, but then again our networks has a coverage of ~99% here in sweden, so i have never even thought about a beep when you lose signal.

It does give a beep, but the sound is too faint to be heard under normal conditions, even when there is very less ambient noise. But is quite evident when headphones are connected. Also, it gives a beep whenever the phone is switched to flight mode or reverts back.
