T-Mobile offers new wi-fi tariff
T-Mobile has become the first UK operator to offer access to a WiFi network as part of a mobile broadband price plan.
As from January 8th, all new customers who sign up to the Web’n’walk mobile internet service will be able to use all T-Mobile WiFi HotSpots to go online at no extra charge.
This means that for an additional £12.50 per month, on top of any Flext price plan, T-Mobile customers will now have access to both a 3G network nationwide and the world’s largest Wi-Fi network. It has 39,000 WiFi HotSpots across the globe such as Starbucks, airports and selected rail services.

Press release
I've just had a chat with t-mobile and it seems the web'n'walk pro I am on has been discontinued, though since I had it before its discontinued I am able to keep it going.
However, this new web'n'walk with "free" wifi access isonly available if you have a NEW contract with t-mobile on a flext plan
I've never had a contract with t-mobile. I'm on a sim only deal with web'n'walk PRO.
Interestingly I pay £10/month for web'n'walk PRO which includes 2gb/month of data. This new web'n'walk plus offers 3gb/month and the wifi for £12.50 so if the wifi is free you're paying an extra £2.50 for the extra 1gb of data
retentions are on the phone seeing if they can do something...

Okay from my own understanding as I go through, this is a good service.

However can someone really tell me what this wi-fi is? what does it stands for and what is it used for. My God Iam fuming because I dont know this service.
