Anybody got the "SenseMe" feature from the Sony Ericsson Media Manager to work? (I don't)

I have got the "Perform SenseMe music analysis when music is transferred" option on. I also pushed the "SenseMe Music Analysis" button a few times. Media Manager then takes ages to analyse my mp3's, but you can't see what mood was assigned to the songs in the Media Manger?

Anyway, if I transer the songs to the phone, the mood field is always "No mood". I can change it on the phone but this is a little to much work!

Any thoughts? Thanks!

No, the "SenseMe" algorithm should be able to select a mood (that is what SenseMe is...): It analyses a song and selects one based on the tempo and style. Just read the press stuff. Only thing is... it doesn't work ;-(

I had similar problems with this and the Media Manager at first. Download and install Media Manager 1.1 from SE website and it should work fine.

I'm not sure, but I think the W960 does not support the SenseMe feature. I think only the W910 does, or maybe also the W580.

The SenseMe looks in fact like a chart with 2 axes and each song is charted on it. When you select what part of the chart you want, the W910 plays the songs that match it. But the W910 does not have "moods" like the W960.

Since the media manager is supposed to work with different models (i can even use it with my good old K750), the fact that the option is there does not mean the W960 can support it.

I read in the AAS review of the media manager that it's possible to assign moods with it, but i haven't found out how yet. Alternatively, it's possible to assign moods to entire albums or artists from the Walkman player on the phone.

Does the W960 Walkman Touch app even have the SenseMe function? I know W910's Walkman 3.0 app has it but not sure about the UIQ model.

Haven't seen it in any review/picture/video of the W960 and not in the user's manual either, so I assume it's not present, but a confirmation from a W960 user would be good.

Nope, the SenseMe thing with 2 axis is not present on the W960. Kinda stupid the flagship model has less functionality then a lower model, but there you go.

p.s. I thought the purpose of the SenseMe function in Media Manager was to assign moods that the W960 could use, but I guess I was wrong.
