i'm super confused. my texting worked fine last night. the only thing i changed was the background theme on my phone. so somewhere between that, and shutting off my phone last night and this morning, the text decided to not send or receive. i get a 'sending failed' message any time i try to send a text or picture message. i haven't changed any of the settings on my phone, the connection number is +13123149810.
i tried contacting se's tech support and they said:
First, check the SMS Access setting:
1) Access the main menu.
2) Select Settings.
3) Scroll to the activity tab.
4) Select Data Comm.
5) Select SMS Access. It may also be called Text Message Access.
6) Make sure it's set to GSM. It may also be called 'Circuit Switched' or 'CS Data'.
(this didn't even exist on the settings tab - found it under the messages, settings, text messages setting)
If this setting is correct, check your service center number:
1) Access the main menu.
2) Select Messaging
3) Select Settings
4) Select SMS. It may also say "Text Message".
5) Check the service center number to make sure it is correctly entered. To determine what the correct Service Center number is, contact your service provider.
i called at&t and they were useless.
any help? i just got this phone not too long ago and it's a really sweet phone. this is the first issue i've had with it.
