or the newer mmr-70 fm transmitter
but to be honest, unless you have afront mounted aerial these are not much good in the car as they have a short effective range and out on a busy road they get alot of interference
what you need is something like
these fastport to 3.5mm adaptors but this gives you a female socket so you need to then get a 3.5mm male to 3.5mm male cable to plug into the 3.5mm female sock you presumably have in your car stereo

yes I agree. mmr-60/70 only useful if you have good reception.
My old puegeot has it's original stereo without any aux in connections. I have an fm transmitter installed in line with the antenna (and powered by the car battery), so it always has perfect reception. This fm transmitter has aux in rca plugs which I connect my phone to via an mmc-60.
I guess for convenience the mrr-60/70 are a good solution if they work well for a given car, but otherwise a hpm-70 to aux-in is the next best thing and better audio quality too.

As masseur has said, get fastport adaptor - the one from old W800i would do the thing + 3,5 female to male. Or, if you have older stereo with cassette player, get cassette adaptor with 3,5 male...

MMC-70 is a fastport to 3.5 mm male cable.
About the MMR-70: I have one, and it works perfectly in my Volvo v70. The stereo in that car does not have a 3.5 mm input available (I believe that there exists a very expensive Ipod interface as an original Volvo accessory part, but that does not help me) One of the reasons for thhe good reception, I think, is because the radio areial is a metallic strip that runs in a loop integrated into the glass in one of the rear side windows, very similar to the electrically heated rear window.

you can also get the Sony Ericsson HPM series (I have HPM70) which is a fastport to 3.5mm cable including mike, so you can use it as a headset as well as a 35mm socket to plug your pone into other stuff.
