> Sending contacts on a K850i

Hello all, My first post.
I have a vodafone branded k850i ..i've just upgraded firmware to RIDA038.
The problem is that i cannot send contacts via SMS, they send only as MMS, which is very boring. Basically it does not give me an option and just uses MMS!
Is this because it is a branded phone or am i missing something. there is also no SEUS on the phone

Same irritation. Vodafone K850i. I wrote to Vodacom ( Vodafone South Africa) and they claim this is how the phone has designed by Ericsson. They avoided answering a direct question as to whether the branding on this phone may have something to do with some of its limitations. Some forums on the net say you that you should be able to send business cards using sms, MMS, e-mail and Bluetooth.
In addition, I cannot send sms on a scheduled time despite the fact that this phone has this feature. Vodacom says this has to do with their network. However they cannot explain why I can schedule sms sending on my Nokia 9300 using the same sim card.
Me thinks this has something to do with vodafone. They are invading South Africa and trying to paint our handsets red. Our handsets used to be pure even when bought on contract!
