> Is the K850i reliable yet?

Now that US prices are approaching the $400 mark, I'm considering buying one. Have the many, many bugs been worked out of it yet?

I thought that the 038 FW had it's own set of issues like poor battery life?
Mine is very reliable (037 FW). Maybe cuz it's a later build model - mine is 07W46. I (knock on wood) don't have most of the issues that a lot of K850i owner's have.
I say get one. Where can you get one for $400? I paid $460 for mine 2 weeks ago.

I'd say wait and see what the new firmware brings before you part with your hard earned cash for a k850i, 038 hasnt made the phone much better and in some areas its worse

remember, its NOT all k850 who have major bugg-issues...many k850 (mostly unbranded) runs pretty good. i think you can buy one, and be quite safe......
also remember that the big firmware hasnt come yet.....038 dosnt even work on all k850.

Im on my 5th K850i with R1DA038 and its loads better than my other 4 I have had.
Infact i broke the record troday of having it over a month. lol
I can honestly say tho that R1DA038 is much better than the other 2. Dont get me wrong, its not brilliant but the new firmware due in next 2 weeks has been will have been rewritten in parts I would think.
The A200 UI is very good, but the K850i is a testing bed for the software as it was the first phone for it to be released on.
** Im sort of getting my faith back in SE k850i. Altho i wish the quality would vastly improve on the next back of K series phones

The next firmware after 038 will be available for branded phone that use 038 or only for 037 user? (after the first release 037 fw. was available mostly for unbranded phone)
