Hello all,

i've got an eee pc and was wondering if there is any software out there so i connect my P990i to use as a moden?

Don't forget: EEE is much cheaper and way to smarter than SE, and Linux or Windows is better than any firmware ever made for p990, you know the movie camera bug, with that out of focus problem never solved though they offered us 320*240 movie mode, when 176*144 was enermous for average phones.
EEE is Windows XP compatible, so you can install XP, instead of Linux, and then you should know what you have to do.

@LeeG, since you have bought it you obviously want to learn more about the UMPC and it's OS. eee's os is based on Xandros distro so here are few links that will hopefully help you with your quest:

Personally I have no knowledge about this distro so it would take too much time for me to find this for you. The question you have asked here is more suited for eee's or xandros distro forum.. In any case, please share your findings with us.

Are you going to use the WiFi of your p990 as modem? if so then you better use your eee PC's WiFi which is b/g enabled. however if you're intending to use 3G of your phone as modem then use PC suite

thanks guys thats i big help. its already got wifi, so was gonna use the P990i as a modem. i cannot wait get my hands on it, i go away on bussiness lot and will take it for web, email and of course Esato !!!!
