i have a p990i i did uninstal (Psiloc_Crystal_UIQ)to a program then i turned it off when i tried to turn it on it just showed sony ericsson logo then it turns off again and does the same thing over and over again , i went to a service center they said we have to instal a new software but i'll lose all my data ( contacts, sms's , notes and everything ) is there a solution other than this one? plz help me !

Restarting, eh? Hmm.. Indeed it does sound like something went wrong when uninstalling. Easiest thing would probably be to make a back up of the content with the PC smart phone suite, if it works, and then update / re flash it with SEUS.

i try it to connect wit pc suite but Cannot read the phone because still show logo and restart

website (it's located under Support), and follow the instructions given by the program. You will lose all your contacts, applications, calender appointments, etc., if you do not back up.

I had similar problem few weeks back when messing around with a new font set on MS (after my success of P1i OEM fonts merge with Z8 fonts, I was trying something more adventurous with some fonts out of Windows - caused real grief for phone!). Anyway, phone just hung every time on logo screen... was getting worried (didn't want to re-flash/lose all data). So, I took MS out (using card reader deleted the dodgy font set), then battery out/battery back in... but it was still stopping at logo screen. So, during this I simply pressed the on/off button, pressing it for >10sec... this seemed to do a reset of sorts, and the phone started up ok next time (and been ok since). Phew!
