> P990 flip key stopped working

Hi!
I have a P990 for a long time now. I don't always use the flip, but I like to make the phone look different from time to time. One day, when I woke up, the center key in the flip (center of the "joystick") didn't work anymore. I don't know what happened... At night it worked, in the other morning it didn't...
So, I'm posting here to see if anyone can help me. Not that I can't live without the flip, but I'd like to put it to work if possible

try to remove flip and clean conector under the phone, thats connect from flip to phone.

i don't use my flip and my ertyuio keys have all faded and the u and i ones sometimes won't work, i have to push them a few times to get anything.
must be an old age thing, ive had mine for 17 months now.
