Evening all,
I've just been given a K530i as a work phone. Now i know absolutely nothing about this phone. My own private one is a C600 smartphone which i love. I've not come here to start a bashing war bout which is better i was just wondering what ppl with experience with Ericssons would have to say are the main advantages and pluses of them.
Cheers

K530 is not bad, but the cam is quite bad in terms of quality and it lacks a led light.
its just a K610 in a new jacket.
but a good basic 3G phone

^^ and it's very cheap! considering it has the best non-OS platform as well as the bounty of 3G and radio. it's very budget friendly
and se-fan: Ericsson is dead in the mobile industry for 6 years already!

Excuse me? dead? many phones run on the Ericsson platform.
Brands like SE, sagem, arima, LG, sharp and others.
So you have every right to call it Ericsson

Sorry if i sound stupid but i mean they aren't using the brand name Ericsson for producing mobile phones. only the platforms and some communication chipsets are inside an SE device but both Ericsson and Sony stopped making their own respective mobile phones based on their parent name and instead they use "Sony Ericsson" that's why i called the brand name dead

so calm down folks

I think you mean that

no longer creates

branded mobile phones. But dead in the mobile industry? hahahaha, they're still one of the top industry players, and one of the leaders in mobile telecommunication development and research. Most telcos operate on

equipment.

its ok, but the heart of an se is still ///, se is only responseable for the software ( firmware ) its just interesting, that se users think, /// is only a "text", nothing else... sony would have have been never ever able to make a usable mobile on its own... u cant do it on the usually asian way and copy, quality and tradition cant be copied...

actually i know more on ericsson than Sony. and i know that Ericsson makes platforms and softwares i.e. the A100 and A200 and they are the leaders in mobile telecomunications as well. again please refer to the post that i made to correct myself and to avoid such flaming words thrown upon me(if there will be

) and sorry for being so rude and off-topic
cheers!
