Im aware that these 2 phones use the "802.11b" version. Nokias use the "802.11g" which newer is alot faster.
My question is if this affects the speed of browsing the internet. Of course the nokias will be faster but is it noticable considering the fact that phones are too "small" to notice a difference?

802.11b's speed is rated as 11Mbps and 802.11g is 54Mbps. Unless you find an access point that gives you over 11Mbps download speed (and by that I mean actual download speed, not the speed rating of the connection) you won't notice any difference.
Only copying files to and from devices give any noticable difference between the two speeds.
