I'm planning on getting a Nokia 5610 as an upgrade to my K790a and some questions are troubling me:
1. Does it support HSPDA or just UMTS?
2. Is the camera on it the same as on the N73?
3. How's the battery life compared with a K790?
4. Is the screen any good?
5. How's the build quality?
General opinions about the phone are also very welcome and thanks in advance.

Dunno, never tried nor needed it, but most networks don't support it yet anyway, so meh, doesn't bother me. However, if you think you'll need it one day, check Nokia's website.

Wouldn't know, never used the N73
But it's not bad, it's good enough for it's purpose, phone based snaps. If your serious about photography, there are better phones out there for you that are dedicated to that.
3. How's the battery life compared with a K790?
Well, I haven't owned a K790 (or K800 here) but I'd say with average use mine lasts about...4 days ish? It's good enough for me really.
4. Is the screen any good?
Screens great, it's big, clear and easy to view, and 16m colours looks awesome
5. How's the build quality?
Build quality seems very good, only dropped it once. Since new the back cover has creaked ever so slightly, but like most phones, it's not DESIGNED to be dropped lol, so don't expect it to stand up against the elements as much as you shouldn't expect your current phone to.
Overall, I love it, v.few software problems but for the ones that are there, theres an update already.

Thanks! I checked on the Nokia website and it just says WCDMA 850/1900/2100 so what's that supposed to mean? I'm fine with either, but I just wanna be future-proofed. I think I'm definitely settled on this phone now.

Still, unless your going to plug it into your PC for data downloads, something most providers wont let you do without paying a fortune, then you'll be fine

It depends on signal strength. I can often get GPRS at home, but 3G only kicks it when I'm in town really. HSDPA would be the next grade of signal higher I would assume, meaning you'd need to be within some good coverage area for it to work.
