Hi,

Does anyone know the difference of these two firmware versions on the k850i. (Notice the letter difference in the firmware version as well)

The R1CA037 seems to be a newer version, please confirm.

Thanks

Thats weird,

because roughly 20 days ago, I updated using the Sony Update Service Provider to R1DA38, and hearing that there would be a new firmware in January. I updated to R1CA37 which was the latest version according to the update service.

Both times that I updated, the location was set to "Hong Kong".

This happened to me as well, I brought my phone in hong kong so the firmware is HONG_KONG

all the drivers reverted back to the 037 version wierd and a bit annoying

actually, the camera SW versions stayed at R1DA038,
camera
current:3.4
Video call camera
current: 3.0
content version stayed at R1DA038 too: PA17

OK I lied, everything stayed at R1DA038 apart from the java and text software versions

performance seems to stay same for me

my firmware version is now R1CA037 prg12004401_HONG_HONG_SO R1CA037

maybe they're updating something on SEUS in hong kong

ps: haven't tested battery time though, media player seems to be a bit quicker actually, but thats just my opinion.
