I highly recommend it. The W850 is great for multitasking, daylight snaps are decent, player is good if you can suffer slight hiss when listening to quiet tracks (this issue and crack-prone directional pad may have been addressed in post-2006 handsets). The overall build quality is good despite a slightly plasticky feel (as in many other phones, I guess)

Check all the accessories including the lanyard and matching white headphones HPM-70 if you choose the golden white model. Now that the price has dropped significantly, it should be a bargain.

Its unusual design and the fact that it is the first SE slider make it somewhat exclusive, I'd say.

Cheers!

Two of my friends had this phone and they both got it for the music features. Not sure how it stands up to todays Walkman phones (W910, W960, W880, etc) but I know it was great for them and I think it was a DB2020 handset so if you've used a K800/K810 then that should give you an idea of how the firmware is on the phone.
