I know in loads of threads people have said they have got the mmc reader to work on xp. I have also, but:

1: Most people who have said this also say that it sometimes makes their computer unstable.

2: I leave my computer on all the time and it never crashes, but since i installed the drivers, everytime i insert a card (or if it's in when i boot) explorer crashes out and reloads, this doesn't bother me too much, but every time i come back to my computer after leaving it for a couple of house, it has just booted up to xp saying it's just recovered from a fatal error (something like that). Every now and then it just bombs xp right out into a boot cycle. It sucks.

3: When it is working, even when stable, browsing OTHER locations on my computer is noticably slower, even when there is no card in the reader it is bashing the performance of my box.

In closing:
If it didn't suck so much when there was no card in it i could live with it, but it's lame all the time and i can't be bothered with unplugging it and plugging it back in when i need it. SO if anyone knows of the cheapest place on the net where i can get a usb mmc reader/writer it would be most appreciated!!!
I'd like to say, besides the reader issues, £25 for such a great little mp3 player is pretty cool.

I've got the same driver, never worked better.... I really don't now why people have problem with this. The original drivers DON'T work, that's a fact, because officially HPM-10 reader doesn't support XP.
