When I press the power button on the phone it looks as if all is working, screen and keyboard illuminate, but the screen displays nothing. After 5 seconds or so, it turns off for a second or two, then loops the above.
All I did was turn the phone off normally, and now it won't start, was working fine previously. I have checked with SEUS, which looks happy enough to reflash my phone. What I'm wondering is if someone knows of a way to recover some data off the phone? (I have new contacts which I haven't backed up yet, etc)
Thanks

Hope the tip I found helps!

I had noticed this thread too, but I think my problem is slightly different as my phone is not getting to the "loading" stage mentioned (I do not think anyway).
Looks like the solution in that case was to re-flash the phone (I guess this is what I will have to end up doing), really I'm looking for a way to perform a backup in boot mode, or whatever. Or just some other way to get my data off there. I do have a fairly recent backup, I was just hoping for a way to get stuff back before I do reflash it.
