The phone hasn't been in contact with any moisture has it at all?

Try leaving the battery out for 15-20 minutes, that may help

my p990 went through a stage of doing that, i just left it off for ten mins with no battery in it and it seemed to sort it out. Could you try doing a hard reset?

hi Sammy Boy, and ADZ21,

thanks for your kind reply, i did put it off and take the battery off, but to no avail

i'd leave it for another few minutes now may be about 20minutes whilst searching for an answer....and i was pretty sure it wasn't in contact with any moisture or liquid

damn, this is my second set, and i am quite disappointed

hi kimoto1,

the SESC here isn't as good as somewhere else, they don't replace stuff for sure once you live the store. and even if they try to fix it, first thing i'd do is try to fix it myself, if things go down to their service center, there's a need you'd probably get a new one
