hello,
I have a pay-as-you-go unlocked phone on Virgin in the uk.
When i set up a e-mail account (pop3) i can recieve e-mails but it allways say's sending failed when i try to send one.
My phone is not GPRS activated, is that why i cant send e-mails?
i need pop 3 e-mail so i can send myself photos from my communicam.

thank you,
james

Are you using smtp.virgin.net as your smtp server?

You do not need GPRS for email, you can connect using CSD. If you are using GPRS (and sometimes even via a CSD dial-up) you have to ensure that your connection allows you to access your specific mail server, they may block access. Check with your provider.
