The latest CPS product,
Bunch Launch, has just been released. With this program you can
- start multiple apps at once, to quickly bring the phone to a desired state;
- categorize all your apps to groups, for convenient access;
- clean up memory.
Fully functional trial can be downloaded from
CellPhoneSoft, My-Symbian, and other major resellers. Enjoy the program! Comments and suggestions are welcome as always.
Latest version is 1.20.[ This Message was edited by: Zed@CPS on 2008-03-07 08:08 ]

Looks nice! Does it start apps at boot? I'd really appreciate that...

This program does not, but we plan to provide a solution for that as well next week.

No, instead some additional (free) companion(s) for more convenient and versatile use of this program (but first see how this one works).

Some small suggestions...
1) Allow us to be able to add apps that we want to ensure are closed when first executing a group (i.e. add a "Kill" action for apps). This way we can ensure that any app is closed before launching a group even if it's a system app (since system apps don't get closed on free memory action).
2) Allow the Standby screen to be added as an app. I'd like to create a "Startup" group that executes SMP and Linkboy and then displays the Standby screen after running both of those programs. Currently, I can't do that.
3) Allow the default group to auto-execute as soon as Bunch Launch is started.
4) It would be nice if there was a way to be able to have Bunch Launch auto start itself when the phone is booted. Seems silly to have to buy/use another program to do something like this (i.e. it should be a built in feature of Bunch Launch for sure - especially for the price you're currently asking for it).
5) Allow groups to be added/deleted.
For me, without the above functionality, I personally don't find much use in the Bunch Launch app. Although it's a really nice app for sure. Kudos to everyone involved at CPS.

Thanks a lot OfficeMaven for your suggestions!

The Maximize memory option exists for that exact purpose. System apps are not currently closed, but such option is planned for the next version.
Allow groups to be added/deleted.
Allow the Standby screen to be added as an app.
Both in next version!
Allow the default group to auto-execute as soon as Bunch Launch is started.
Another way is coming soon to provide one-click access to executing the default group.
have Bunch Launch auto start itself when the phone is booted.
Kind of remedy is in the pipeline.

You are most welcome.

The only problem I see with this is that what if I only want to ensure that one or two particulair apps are closed before I bunch start my group of applications?
If I use the max mem feature, then it will close all my running apps. I'd rather have a "kill" action where I could force only certian apps to close if desired. That would be a much nicer option IMHO.

I think it's more a memory management software : SwissManagerPro
You have favorites to launch what you want, you can delete software you want, kill system app.
i think BL is made for what it is made for, not not make something like SMPro...
But good ideas for the next version !
regards
