Hi!
I´m thinking of buying the P800, but before doing so i´d like to know if the screen is fairly resistant to scratches? So if anybody (with experience) could give me an answer I would be

Well. I'm keeping mine away from sharp objects just to be sure. At least until someone can provide protection film for the screen. I'm planning on having this one until 3G headsets comes into largescale service. And by the looks of it I might be in for a bit of a wait

), it's made of plastic... so do the maths
the screen is actually a normal tft screen with a thin touch screen film as overlay (with a small space in between)... so that film saves the screen from scratching... but I think you will have to ask a former PDA (with touch screen) user how the wear and tare is over the years... nobody has the P800 long enough to answer that question...

Most of the PDA's are pretty resistant to everyday use but if mishandled anything will scratch.I had a palm for 2 yrs and the screen was very good without any scratches and off course regular cleaning with plain cloth and keeping dust away will be good.

I would not that brave enough to put this expensive P800 anywhere near keys or something like that, even though it may be scratch resistant in some way, it is recommend to buy those protective sheet for those PDA and put it on the P800 screen !!

Don't have a P800 yet, but I can recommend the "WriteRIGHT" screen protectors made by Fellowes. Thin, glare-free and has a nice texture; slightly grippy, not slippy, more like paper.
The package contains 12 protector sheets, yet I've been using the same one for over a year on my Visor Edge (and it gets lots of daily use).
