As a programmer, can i first point out that "weirdos" only has one "w" and that its a bad idea to expose your imei like that.

Other than that, I have an uptime of weeks now and my p1 still connects to the net fine, and sends and receives email ok too.

@pnf: There, i've made a correction and added an extra smile, so every1 should know it was just a joke, I hope you didn't feel offended;)
Ok, I figure you know your stuff, so I deleted it:)
About my problem now: I don't have GW on it and I don't plan of switching on GW, as I don't have the time to reinstall all the programs. It might be just that, I still have R6D23.

Yeah.. I think I stopped getting the "general generic unspecified fault", and "Error: cancel/ok" messages after the august update..? Another thing is that the connections- manager had problems switching between the connections. So you could end up connecting to the web on the preferred group with wifi, and then it sometimes wouldn't switch to the other priorities if you were out of range and had wifi enabled. So the mail- app couldn't open a connection with the system's api, and it throws some unexpected exception, probably.

Kind of polite, compared to the error- messages on outlook, though. "There was an error" (no, really!). Or "Page fault" (so did the program expect something to be there, then?). "There was a problem receiving mail from the server" (oh, wow. Thanks for telling me. Now I can hit the "send/receive" button and be suprised it doesn't work, all day!). The SE PC suite is pretty good, too. "Failure!", "Catastrophic failure!". Next you'll get "Beware, User! Beware!".

@Nipsen: hahaha that one with 'catastrophic failure' was a good one,you gotta admit! Never happened to me but if it did, i'd expect my pc to blow-out anytime:)
I know about the problem with changing the connections back and forth. Most of the times,I check it myself and it's correct-my Gprs account is priority no. 1 and still doesn't work. You know, when you open up a page, the little connection globe appears and starts spining but sometimes it doesn't and that I get this error. And just switching the conn. off/on sometimes fixes it, other times doesn't. If you say you stoped having issues after updat,I should try it to but installing again 25 apps puts me off:(
One more thing:the service guy that will make my phone Generic World and update it, said after the last update the 1800 mhz band doen't work anymore. I don't know why,but a sim from a 1800mhz company can't be used anymore on an updated P1i. Can some1 confirm?
