Does any one know where i can get a software to unlock BB5 mobiles?

there is no sw... only 6630, 6680, n70 and n90 are for free on the internet to download, all other have to be unlocked by using different boxes, like mt box, j.a.f. etc

What is a cid mate. Is it the same as the IME number or the Cerial number in common language.
If it is that, check underneath the battery or on the box if not reciept that came with you phone.
You can also punch in *#06# and it ussually works without the slashes if you have copied it from underneath the battery.
Hope I am giving what you want.
